ThymuSkin ® Clinical Studies

ThymuSkin® is a topical hair treatment.

Over ten years of clinical studies have been performed on the use of ThymuSkin® as an effective treatment of alopecia androgenetica (Pattern Baldness), diffusa (Hair Loss Over The Whole Scalp and Possible All Parts Of The Body), and areate (Patchy Bladness). The hair shampoo, treatment (revitalizer) and hair rinse are cosmetics containing thymus gland extract, plant proteins, methyl glucose, elastin, avocado oil, citric acid, pyridoxine, linolic acid, tocopherol acetate, retinyl palmitate, demineralized water, additives and preservatives.

The use of ThymuSkin® in conjunction with chemotherapeutical treatments, has been shown to reduce or completely eliminate associated incidences of alopecia totalis. The mitigation of alopecia totalis reduces psychological stress on the patient, which can increase the overall effectiveness of treatment.

ThymuSkin® has been shown to be effective in reducing hair loss and creating new hair growth in individuals who experience alopecia androgenetica (Pattern Baldness) and alopecia areata.

Of particular interest is the documentation of no side effects in conjunction with the use of ThymuSkin®. The explanation of the mode of action of ThymuSkin® is a subject of various clinical trials still on-going.

The development of ThymuSkin® could not have occurred without the support of Physicians of the Universities of Heidelberg, Munster- Osnabruck, Hannover and Munich.

Additional research has been provided from the Ludwig-Boltzmann Institute in Darmstadt. Scientific support continues by the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Bonn-Bad, Godesberg.
