Thinning Hair Researchers Nanogen Invited to Prestigious Swiss Dermatology Conference

Swiss Dermatology conference features Nanogen products due to their compatibility with sensitive skin.

May 2010

Hair loss experts Nanogen have been invited to feature in a Swiss Society of Dermatology conference in May.

The relationship between dermatology and hair loss is an interesting one, as many skin conditions cause hair loss and many cases of hair loss originate from underlying skin complaints.

Nanogen have been invited because their products are formulated to combat excessive hair loss as well as certain skin conditions.

Certain Nanogen products are of specific interest to dermatologists as they are compatible with sensitive scalps.

Onescalp is formulated to reduce irritation and improve skin barrier function to keep the skin in the best possible condition for hair growth.

Nanoguard B contains an innovative growth phase activator, which acts to maintain healthy hair growth as well as reducing excessive hair loss.

Both products are water based in order to be wholly compatible with sensitive skin. Many hair loss treatments including Minoxidil are alcohol based; the high percentages of alcohol in these products can create a dry, flaky and unhealthy scalp.

The attending dermatologists will also evaluate Nanofibres, this product provides a cosmetic solution for hair loss and is also non-irritating and safe for patients with sensitive scalps. The fibres are made of keratin, the same protein as natural hair, and therefore will not irritate skin. The Alopecia Society already recommends Nanofibres to its members, further proving the utility of this product for people with sensitive skin.

The Swiss Dermatological conference is the latest in a wide range of exhibitions that Nanogen have been invited to feature in, such as the ‘Hairstyle 2010’ in Rotterdam as well as the ‘Beauty Trade Special’ in Jaarbeus.

Nanogen is already recognised worldwide by dermatologists and eminent hair transplant surgeons, illustrating the professional reputation of their products. Nanogen (nanogen.co.uk) has always maintained their scientific background, and early indications from an unpublished report suggest their research into Nanofibres makes them superior to the other hair fibre products.
