Prince William’s hair loss
A Cheeky T shirt that shows Prince William in a spoof advert for hair loss treatment has become a massive hit
March 2010
For all the stories about how handsome and charming Prince William was throughout his recent Australian tour, it seems that his increasing bald spot attracted more than a fair share of comment.
There were articles in major newspapers headed ‘Balding Royals’, it was discussed on numerous radio chat shows and there’s now even a t-shirt being sold featuring a photo of Prince William with the caption ‘Advanced Heir. Yeah Yeah!’
The wording is a play on Advanced Hair Studio adverts, which show balding cricket aces - including Shane Warne, 40 - and the line: "Advanced Hair. Yeah! Yeah!"
So why is it that hair loss is such a talking point when it happens
to celebrities, sports stars and now it appears royalty?
Is it that society sees them as being less attractive when they start to go bald? The answer is probably ‘yes’.
We already know of numerous
celebrities and sports stars such as Shane Warne that have decided
they would prefer to keep their hair, and are happy to talk about
procedures such as Advanced Laser Therapy that is helping them
retain a full head of hair.
Maybe Prince William could have a chat to fellow Brit and former UK
cricket Captain Michael Vaughan who promotes Advanced Hair Studio’s
Strand-by-Strand procedure and credits this with giving him a full
head of hair again.
One thing is for certain, men are going to continue to lose hair and
if they have any sort of public profile, their hair loss will
certainly be photographed and commented on.
The alternative is of course to get in first and see Advanced Hair
Studio who have treatments to prevent further hair loss and also
guarantee that any man can have a full, natural looking head of hair
again.
