Keep bald heads happy

Sitting on a plane following a long business trip in Switzerland, Howard Brauner's bald head felt different after he wiped it down with a moist towel given to him after his meal.

"It felt really nice," says Brauner, head bald guy at BG Products, LLC, manufacturer of Bald Guyz products.

Brauner contacted the manufacturer of the towel and used them as inspiration for Bald Guyz Head Wipes. Formulated with green tea extract, the wipes come in a box of 16 individually wrapped wipes (about $5).

The wipes, Brauner says, combine just the right amount of cleansers to cut through the oil and just the right amount of moisturizer to moisturize a bald head. "When it dries and it evaporates — it cools."

Brauner insists his wipes are better than using a regular baby wipe, which uses alcohol to cut through, not eliminate, oils and grease.

BG Products also makes other Bald Guyz items, including sunscreen, wash and shampoo, and moisture gel. Products are available at Rite Aid and Eckerd stores.
