Bald Fans Get In Free at Perris On Saturday For The Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Car Races

Sept 2005

When Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply presents the Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Cars at Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday night, it will be "Bald Night" at The PAS. All fans who are completely bald will get into the races free!

If a fan who is not completely bald wants to get into this Saturday's races for free, promoter Don Kazarian has arranged for two barbers to be stationed at the front gate to shave their head. "Anyone taking advantage of our offer has to be completely bald," Kazarian stated. "That is why we will have the two barbers at the front gate." Receding hairlines, widow's peaks and bald spots on the top of the head do not count! It will have to be the "Mr. Clean" hairstyle.

Saturday's race will also pay homage to the Racing Against Drugs and Racing with Jesus programs. "Racing can be a diversion to keep kids away from drugs and we are pleased to help them out. It is a great cause." Kazarian stated.

"Racing with Jesus has been at The PAS for quite a few years now. Some only see them give the invocation before the races, but they do so much more," said the veteran promoter. "Reverend Joe Bubbico and his staff are always ready to help in any situation. When drivers have gotten hurt, they have accompanied the families to the hospital. Right now Joe has been going to grade schools and presenting programs on racing and giving tickets to get the kids and their parents out to The PAS for the first time."

Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the freeway close Lake Perris Fairgrounds, Hair Loss of the Southern California Fair, approximately one hour east of Los Angeles. Take the 215 Freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go east two and a half miles to the fairgrounds.
