Ground-breaking New Reality Show Hair Loss Confidential Launches First Webisode

The next era in Reality TV shows is here and it's going to change the way America looks at Hair Loss and the Hair Loss industry

Nov 2008

Hair Loss Confidential has launched their first full webisode on their website HairLossConfidential.tv. The webisode, featuring 16 year-old Myranda, was shot last month in St. Louis, MO.

Show creator and Executive Producer, Lisa Zimmerman, was ecstatic at the launch of the webisode on Monday morning.

"We finally made my vision come true. The show turned out better that I ever dreamed possible," said Ms. Zimmerman. "And to know that we are fulfilling the dreams of such worthy people like Myranda makes it mean so much more."

Myranda has suffered from alopecia areata since she was 13 and has been the victim of verbal and physical bullying at school. The emotional turmoil has taken a serious toll on both Myranda and all members of her family.

The show's premise is based upon an intervention directed by a clinical psychologist who guides the subject and their family through the emotional roller-coaster experienced as a result of the hair loss crisis.

The subject is offered a life-changing hair transformation performed by a prestigious and reputable hair restoration center in their local area.

Myranda, nominated by her mom Montica, received an amazing transformation at Hans Wiemann Hair Replacements in St. Louis. "I couldn't stop thanking my mom even though I wanted to kill her," said Myranda. "I just couldn't believe everyone did this for me."

Hans Wiemann Hair Replacements owner Tim Pfeiffer was overcome with emotion after the reveal of Myranda's hair restoration to her family and friends. "When Myranda was revealed to her family and they turned around and applauded and cheered, and tears flowed... it was just like you know why you're in this business... and that is to make people happy with themselves... happy with their appearance," said Pfeiffer.

The next webisode of Hair Loss Confidential will be available to view in December at www.HairLossConfidential.tv.
