The genetic baldness tests will be introduced to the Dominican Republic by Skin and Hair Transplant Institute of Santo Domingo (www.albareyes.com).

The company is lead by Dr. Alba Reyes Sagiv, M.D., the first surgeon in Latin America to be accepted as “American Board Certified” in the area of hair restoration (ABHRS). She is the Dominican Republic pioneer of the most advanced hair restoration techniques.

“We’re striving to offer the most advanced services and treatments to people suffering from alopecia,” says Dr. Sagiv.

“The genetic tests made by HairDX have an extremely important role in the detection of future and present AGA in men and women. It gives important information about responsiveness to patients considering Finasteride treatment.”

HairDX’s easy to use genetic test provides an accurate and understandable genetic analysis of a man’s or woman’s likelihood of developing Androgenetic Alopecia, the most common type of hair loss.

“By expanding our global footprint, PharmaGenoma is leading the way in molecular dermatology. We’re pleased to bring the latest in genetic science to men and women in the Dominican Republic,” says Andy Goren, President & CEO of PharmaGenoma, Inc.
