Dr. Wasserbauer will be offering an eyebrow transplant workshop following the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) 21st Annual Scientific Meeting in San Francisco, CA.

The Beautiful Brows Transplantation Workshop will take place on October 27 and 28 at Dr. Wasserbauer’s medical practice in Walnut Creek, CA.

Registration is limited and can be completed online at EyeBrowWorkshop.com.

The workshop will review the causes of brow loss and surgical and non-surgical techniques for brow restoration. It will also showcase live demonstrations and design sessions to teach surgeons the artistic, aesthetic and scientific approach needed to perform this intricate surgery.

“Eyebrow thinning and brow loss is quite common,” said Dr. Wasserbauer. “There are many causes for brow loss, such as over-plucking, trauma and various medical concerns like hypothyroidism, but, there are only a handful of hair restoration surgeons in the country that are able to perform a brow transplant.

In an effort to share this skill and increase the number of surgeons who specialize in brow transplantation, we had a great opportunity to offer this workshop right here at our practice to surgeons already in town for the ISHRS Annual Meeting.”

A brow transplant requires the individual placement of single hairs in the natural growth pattern of the patients’ brows. The meticulous placement of as many as several hundred hairs can restore eyebrows to their most natural appearance.

This particular surgery requires great technical prowess and precision – an artistic skill.

Faculty from around the globe who specialize in eyebrow transplantation will join Dr. Wasserbauer for this two-day workshop. The workshop will be held at the offices of Dr. Sara Wasserbauer, located at 1299 Newell Hill Place, Suite 200, Walnut Creek, CA 94596.
