Hair Loss Poll: Bald Guys Look Like Big Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) Fans

 

A new shampoo company for hair loss polled 358 women to learn more about public perception of hair loss

A survey of over 355 women found surprising assumptions of men with hair loss, ranging intelligence to buying habits.

Nutraceutical Research Innovations, LLC of Hollywood, Florida the manufacturer of new hair loss shampoo Zenagen (www.Zenagen.com), sponsored a poll to learn more about public perception and hair loss (androgenic alopecia), a health condition that is estimated to affect over 80 million Americans.

The women surveyed were randomly selected and ranged from 18-72 year-old, and asked to make assumptions based on looks alone. Over half of the women surveyed perceived the man with a full head of hair as being a better Scrabble player, while the bald headed image of the same man appeared more to be a more likely fan of celebrity Disney film and music star Hannah Montana, also known as Miley Cyrus.

The Zenagen shampoo poll, unofficially nicknamed the "Miley Cyrus Bald Guy Poll" asked a variety of questions including based on looks alone "which photographed man appears to be a good father. The winner: the photo of the man experiencing hair loss.

Can shopping habits be derived from hair loss pattern?

The perception study detailed perceived shopping and eating habits. The photo of the bald man was assumed to be more likely to shop at Hair Loss Depot, while the full headed image was seen more likely to be a java lover, and likely to eat meat free diets. to drink more coffee and be a practicing vegan.

The South Florida hair loss company plans on conducting several larger consumer study and polls in the near future.
