Wayne Rooney forced to watch Man Utd in chair sponsored by hair loss drug

Wayne Rooney put new Manchester United manager David Moyes in a very difficult situation by refusing to back down from his transfer demand all summer.

Rooney then claimed to be too injured to train with the club or participate in their preseason matches, yet on Wednesday, he was fit enough to start England's friendly against Scotland.

Rooney has been one big headache for Moyes since day one, but on the first day of the new season, everything is coming up David Moyes.

With Rooney sitting on the bench right behind him, Moyes watched as his side took a 2-0 lead over last season's Capital One Cup winners Swansea with goals from Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck.

And to add insult to revenge, the dugout chairs at Liberty Stadium just so happened to be sponsored by hair loss drug Regaine.

An amusing coincidence given the fact that Rooney underwent his second hair transplant procedure earlier this summer.

Matchday one and Moyes is already proving to be a worthy replacement for Sir Alex Ferguson on several different levels (assuming he secretly arranged the Regaine sponsorship on behalf of Swansea for the sole purpose of breaking Rooney's spirit).
